Get started with Weather

Install Weather, pin it to your toolbar, and open your forecast.

Open Weather

  1. Install Weather for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Opera on desktop.
  2. Find Weather in your browser’s extensions menu. Pin it to the toolbar to keep the temperature visible.
  3. Click the Weather icon to open your forecast.

No email or purchase is required. Click the location name to search for a city, or choose Use my location and allow location access when prompted.

Main controls

  • Location name: Click to choose a place. Free Weather saves up to two locations; more saved locations Weather Pro feature lets you keep additional places.
  • Radar: Open the map for your selected location.
  • Bell: Open Recent notifications Weather Pro feature.
  • Settings (gear): Change temperature units, language, and appearance.
  • Contact (?): Find upgrade options, the FAQ, and a message form.
Example: Open Settings → Units and choose °C or °F to change the forecast’s temperature units.
