Hide the Chrome footer in WeatherTab

Remove the gray bar at the bottom of your WeatherTab new tab page in Chrome.

If a gray bar appears along the bottom of your WeatherTab new tab page, it is Chrome’s new tab footer. Chrome controls this bar, so you hide it through Chrome rather than WeatherTab’s customization settings.

Hide it with a right-click

  1. Open a new tab in Chrome to show WeatherTab.
  2. Right-click the footer bar at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select Hide footer on New Tab page.

Or use Customize Chrome

  1. Click Customize Chrome in the footer bar at the bottom of WeatherTab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Chrome customization menu.
  3. Turn off Show footer on new tab page.

Use the Customize Chrome control in the footer for this change. WeatherTab’s own customization panel is for your dashboard’s appearance and content.

Still seeing the bar?

Restart Chrome, then open a new WeatherTab tab. If the footer remains or you cannot find these controls, email WeatherTab support with your Chrome version, operating system, and a short description of the bar.
