Customize Weather

Change units, language, appearance, toolbar contrast, and weather source.

Open Settings

Click the gear in the lower-left controls. Changes save automatically.

If a save error appears, check your connection and select Retry.

Language, units, and appearance

  • Language: Choose the interface language. Provider descriptions and official alerts may remain in their original language.
  • Units: Select °F/°C, wind speed, pressure, distance, and 12/24-hour time.
  • Appearance: Set Mode to System to follow your device’s appearance, or choose Light or Dark. Choose a theme and Clarity or Animated weather icons.

Toolbar temperature

Choose Temperature on the left to adjust the toolbar badge. To change °F/°C, use Units.

  • Choose color: Select Dark or Light to suit your browser theme.
  • Color: Weather Pro feature Choose a custom badge color.
  • Feels like: Weather Pro feature Show the apparent temperature in the toolbar. It may differ from the actual temperature in the popup.

Hard to read the temperature? Try Dark or Light under Choose color.

Weather source and refresh interval

  • Weather source: Choose your forecast provider. Additional sources Weather Pro feature offer more choices.
  • Refresh (min): Under General, choose how often Weather checks for updates while your browser is running. The default is 60 minutes; shorter intervals Weather Pro feature let you check as often as every 15 minutes.

Source coverage and forecast details vary by location. If two services disagree, check the location, update time, units, and whether one is showing feels-like temperature.
